Alison Gill
Alison Gill co-founded edenfx group in 2007 to assist in the long term sustainability of workplace health and safety through the use of specific recruitment services for Health, Safety and Environmental professionals.
Alison has a particular interest in Corporate Social Responsibility whereby organisations consider the interests of society by taking responsibility for the impact of their activities on customers, suppliers, employees, shareholders, communities and other stakeholders, as well as the environment. The edenfx services are delivered through this concept.
Alison relocated to New Zealand in 2007 after 20 years working in the UK specialising in the delivery of HR and HSE Services to the Public Sector. A belief in continual professional and personal development meant Alison completed a formal three year practitioner’s course of study with the National Examination Board of Occupational Safety and Health, Certificates and Diplomas’ and holds Chartered Status with the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (UK).
Extensive Project Management know-how combined with specialist experience in both Recruitment and Health and Safety Consultancy, Alison now brings together all services as the Executive Director of edenfx .
Stuart Gill
Stuart, co-founder of edenfx has a wealth of experience across a number of industries including logistics, manufacturing, road and rail, utilities and construction.
Stuart is an accredited ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, British Occupational Health Asbestos Surveyor, Vibration / Whole Body Assessor and Lead Accident Investigator.
Stuart’s strength in EHS discipline meant a three year gap from working life to complete his full time honours degree in Safety, Health and Environmental Management at Nottingham University, UK. Stuart was first introduced to Environmental, Safety and Health issues many years ago as a young shop steward on the floor of a large manufacturing company and his interest for continual improvement both as an individual and for safety practices within all workplaces grew from this day.
Stuart is also a Chartered Member with the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (UK) and most recently has completed and holds the inaugural Certificate in Construction Site Safety (NZ) 2008.
